What we collect, why, and what we do with it.
Short version: we keep what we need to ship your order, send you the occasional email, and stop fraud. We don't sell your data to data brokers. We do share it with the services we need to run the store — Shopify, our payment processor, our email tool, and shipping carriers.
What we collect.
- Order info: name, shipping address, billing address, email, phone (for delivery), and order contents.
- Payment info: processed by Shopify Payments and your card network. We never see or store your full card number.
- Email marketing info: your email if you sign up, plus open/click activity on emails we send.
- Site analytics: standard things — IP address, browser, pages viewed, items added to cart. Used to improve the site and run ads.
Who we share it with.
- Shopify — runs the store and checkout. Shopify's privacy policy.
- Klaviyo — sends email marketing. You can opt out from any email's footer.
- Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, DHL, FedEx) — to deliver your order.
- Ad platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google) — for retargeting and analytics. You can opt out via the cookie banner.
- Customer service tools — when you email us.
How long we keep it.
Order info: 7 years (US tax requirement). Marketing info: until you unsubscribe. Analytics: typically 90–390 days depending on the tool.
Your rights.
- You can request a copy of everything we have on you — email brewinmotion1@gmail.com.
- You can request we delete your data (except what tax law requires us to keep).
- You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time (link in every email footer).
- California residents (CCPA) and EU/UK residents (GDPR) have additional rights — same email gets you started.
Cookies.
The cookie banner at the bottom of the site lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. Essential cookies (the cart, checkout, login) can't be declined — the store wouldn't work.
Changes to this policy.
If we make material changes, we'll email anyone signed up to the newsletter and post a notice on this page. Last updated: 2026-06-08.
